Regional hubs - an alternative to city living
Tampines, once a quiet and distant neighborhood, has evolved into a vibrant commercial hub – filling with activity through the day and night.
Tampines was Singapore’s first regional centre which holds 200,000 sq m of office space and 112,000 sq m of retail space, based on Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA).
Despite being the nation’s original regional centre, Tampines is likely to follow the trend and continue to evolve, even as newer, shinier peers pop up in Jurong, Woodlands and Seletar in the future.
